Night to Shine is an unforgettable worldwide celebration event, centered on God's love, honoring and valuing people with special needs. Sponsored by the Tim Tebow Foundation and hosted by Christian Fellowship Church here in Paris, Texas.
What is Night to Shine?
Night to Shine is a complimentary celebration, hosted by local churches and centered on honoring people with disabilities. Our hope is that guests leave feeling valued, knowing they are loved and celebrated.
Each event is unique to its location. Cornerstone activities include a red carpet welcome with paparazzi, hair and makeup, shoeshines, limousine rides, karaoke, gifts, a catered dinner, a Sensory Room, a Respite Room for parents and caregivers, dancing, and a crowning ceremony where every guest is honored as a King or a Queen — the way God sees them each and every day.
The evening
The evening begins with check-in and a buddy, then a red carpet arrival. After that we keep a simple flow — dinner, activities, crowning, and a word from Tim and Demi Tebow — with room for each guest to choose what they enjoy. Karaoke all night is a perfect Night to Shine. So is sitting and talking with a friend.
Honored guests and families
Night to Shine is open to anyone with special needs ages 14 and older. There is no maximum age, and the event is complimentary. Each guest is paired with a trained buddy. Parents and caregivers may stay in the Respite Room, or drop off if that is the plan.
Volunteers
Night to Shine is a wonderful way to connect with and serve people with special needs in our community. You might serve as a guest's buddy, join the paparazzi on the red carpet, keep the dance floor joyful, or help with food, check-in, or the Sensory and Respite Rooms.
Register through Christian Fellowship Church and complete a background check if you are 18 or older. Volunteers ages 14–17 need a parent permission slip. We will provide the training and details for Friday, February 12, 2027.
Frequently asked questions
Night to Shine is open to anyone with special needs ages 14 and older. There is no maximum age, and the event is complimentary.
We encourage you to dress up in your favorite formalwear — a dress, gown, suit, or tux — or whatever makes you feel beautiful or handsome.
You may drop off your guest or stay in the Respite Room for parents and caregivers. If medication is needed during the event, a parent or caretaker must administer it. Church staff and volunteers do not.
